The Mighty Rio Grande - One of the longest rivers of North America.  The Rio Grande flows out of the snowcapped Rocky Mountains in Colorado and journeys 1,900 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. It passes through 800 foot chasms of the Rio Grande Gorge, a wild and remote area of northern New Mexico. The canyon provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities, luring fishermen, hikers, artists, and whitewater boating enthusiasts. Access in the upper canyon is restricted by the terrain, but several trails lead to the rivers edge. The two most popular whitewater segments are the Taos Box, 17 miles of Class IV whitewater, and the 5 mile Racecourse, a Class III segment. The lower canyon is paralleled by state roads, and receives the majority of the recreational use.
The Rio Grande and Red River designation was among the original eight rivers designated by Congress as Wild and Scenic in 1968. The designation was extended by legislation in 1994 to include an additional 12 miles of the Rio Grande. The designated area includes 60 miles of the Rio Grande from the Colorado/New Mexico state line to just beyond BLM's County Line Recreation Site, and the lower 4 miles of the Red River.

    Rio Grande 24”

Posted by Jason on 13th Jul 2021

Received my 24” Rio Grande discada last week. Cooked on it three nights straight - costillas de res and also skirt steak fajitas. Initially thought the 24” might be too large - but the extra inches really let you push things up the disc while cooking more in the flat base or space also easily let’s you line the outside with tortillas. I think my normal grill will be getting significantly less use. Disc cooking for the rest of the summer! Thank you!

    Great quality

Posted by Todd Clemente on 9th Jul 2021

The Rio Grande is very well made but the sides are a little too steep. I wish I would have bought shallower 24” disk so my food wouldn’t slide down to the middle. It’s still a great product though.

    Great find!

We used it for the first time camping this weekend. We like that you can cook hot in the middle and use the outer ring to keep warm. Great heat distribution and easy clean up. Makes the best bacon!

    Made with American Veteran Pride

Posted by Mike Stamper on 28th Mar 2021

Highest quality disc that I have seen. If you’re shopping, look no further. Unless high quality, American made, is not what you’re looking for. With this product you are getting what you’re paying for, and so much more. You’re getting something that is crafted by a U.S. Veteran that served our country and help defend our rights that so many take for granted. Thank you so much for your services and a outstanding product.

Ordered with Santa Fe handles, This thing is the real deal ! Super heavy duty, perfectly welded , edges are perfectly ground. I highly doubt you’ll ever find a better quality constructed disco. Very fun to cook on !

I have wanted this disk for a long time. I have been saving money to buy it for my outdoor BBQ area. I can't wait to try it. It looks lovely, sturdy and very well made. I was a present for myself. I am very happy.
