We named this disco after the smallest town in New Mexico - A Ghost Town Reborn....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madrid,_New_Mexico
The town of Madrid (pronounced with the accent on the first syllable: MAD-rid, not Ma-DRID (http://www.visitmadridnm.com/) was founded in 1869, but it wasn’t until the 1880’s when the Santa Fe Railroad arrived in the area, that coal mining began on a large scale. By this time, the short lived gold had played out, and most of the solitary miners gave way to larger companies who moved in to develop large coal mining operations.
As many as 1,500 years ago the first Native American inhabitants mined the turquoise and lead deposits in the nearby hills. When the Spaniards first arrived in 1540, they largely ignored the Indians and their turquoise, more interested in finding the more valuable minerals of silver and gold. 18 inch discada
I had already purchased a 24inch for camping that has worked great for cooking for lots of people. But I wanted something smaller for home use so I bought the 18 inch. It’s perfect for our family of 3 with room to spare. Just as with all the other products you’ll find on the website it is made with pride and great quality. I would definitely recommend!

Just what I was looking for!
I had been investigating for days for something like this. Great size for large meals and for frying tortillas and letting them rest on the rim! I wish you had more updating videos about the discadas on youtube but happy I found you guys! I only got the pan but will soon be ordering the burner and a lid and I'll be making a video review on YT! Keep up the great work!

Great alternative to the gas grill
I saw some videos on the disc and was intrigued. I travel with my wife in an RV across the USA and we were looking for a solid outdoor cooking setup. We have been testing it with Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Chicken, potatoes, Tacos/fajitas and more. So far we love this setup. I am still on a learning curve as the heat to disc is something I am working to understand. BUT, the bottom line is I really like the disc and am looking forward to taking it with us on the road!

great home or camp cooker so I have two.
first I ordered the 24 inch and love it then an 18 inch arrived for my birthday so I ordered another for camping. These discs have cooked steak, hamburgers, walleye, potatoes, bacon, eggs, onions. The burner is another must have as well. Can't wait for our next adventure. Thank you for your service and the awesome products.

Beautiful and Functional...!
This is exactly what we wanted. With all the fire bans we can't always sit around a fire and cook and socialize. And a camp stove just isn't the same. But this is a great replacement for a fire and even has more cooking options. Wish we had bought this years ago! The 18" is plenty big for a family of four, but measure a pizza pan or cut a circle out of a pizza box to get an idea and be sure before you order.
