These military grade covers are made and designed by my good friend and fellow veteran Eric of Mountain Ridge Gear and specifically designed to cover our discada cooking disks. This design features 1" nylon webbing around the top half outside edge, sewn with heavy #69 nylon thread and bound by 1" nylon tape. He triple bar tacks the edges for added durability and strength.

    Great fit for my 24" Rio grande disc. Material is great as well as the extra zipper pocket on the front for a lighter or other accessories you may want to store handy.

    I bought the model that is supposed to have holes for the horseshoe handles. The discada is inserted handle first which fits into the opening on the other side of the cover. The zipper closer is located on the side of the other handle, so that when you zip it 'shut' from 2 separate sides, it runs up and stops on both sides of the other handle. I suppose it doesn't matter, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me why it was done that way. I wanted a cover for use at night so I could leave the disc out while camping, and it's certainly better than the packaging box I've been using until now. **From Southwest Disk: This is the way they were designed to ensure a safe handhold on the discs.
