If you thought the 22" UFO disc is big.....then this is the Starship Enterprise of our UFO style Discada's!!

This 24" cooking disk (Rio Grande) features either Trinity, Santa Fe, Angel Fire, or BBQ Springer style handles with the addition of 3 removable legs to support it over a campfire. It gives you the versatility of using it on your burner or using it on a campfire (why prop it up on rocks?!?) The legs are easily detachable and do not interfere when used on a burner. They offer many uses: campfire, fire pit, secure setting, use with limited space.....use it at home, in the woods, the desert, RV'ing or at a tailgate party...the uses are endless with only one thing in mind; fantastic food and great times with old and new friends.

  • Sturdy steel 12" legs giving it a 2' campfire radius. Easily attach and remove the legs (No need to carry around a cumbersome stand)
    • Legs will also store easily in our MRG Discada 24" Cover
  • Huge at  24" round, about a 1/4" thick
  • Semi-Flat bottom at about 10" across
  • Cones up to a height of 4"
  • Gives you 27" of cooking space end to end...this will hold a lot of food!!
  • Weighs in at a hefty 25 pounds
  • We thoroughly prep, season and clean the disk so you don't have to
  • We provide the disk with its first deep seasoning and firing (It is READY TO USE when you receive it)

    Family time cook out

Posted by Robert Greer on 1st Dec 2014

My Wife and I were recently introduced to disc cooking in San Miguel De Allende Mexico . Some friends in Mexico invited us to a cook out, they used an old converted plow disc to cook on an open fire. The flavor of the food and the cheese Cascadia's was so good. Immediately on return to the USA I looked for used plows to make a cooking disc. Instead I found Southwest Discada. I immediately ordered one, and cooked fajitas for our family. Since then I have ordered 5 additional units for gifts. Every Man needs a disc to cook on!. The wood smoke flavor is wonderful. It's a real treat for the whole family! great family fun around the fire! Order one, you will not be sorry, it is the new way to cook for sure..

    We love it!

Fast shipping, product is HUGE! I like the weight and space it provides. The kids think it's different and they will eat things cooked on it that otherwise they wouldn't. I'm not sure why more people in my area don't know about these. Lots of fun. If you want to franchise out in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast - I'm your man!

    Best Disk Ever!!!

Could not believe how big this thing was when I actually got it. Makes other disks feel inferior!!! Recommend this to anyone who likes to cook on a disk.

    Set Phasers on AWESOME.

You win. I'll leave the Star Trek joke/pun count to one. Our Discada arrived in a timely manner with accessories. We seasoned that bad boy the next day and made a huge meal of breakfast burritos for Sunday. You could literally feed an army with one skillet load on this thing! Excellent craftsmanship, quality and function! I bought this on a recommendation and so should you! This thing is LEGIT. No SH*+.

    Out Of This World!

It was so hilarious, my sister in law was so impressed with the UFO Discada cooker, that she wanted to take over stirring etc. She finished the fajitas we made and we know we will enjoy this setup for many years.

    Awesome disco

Posted by Reyes on 12th Mar 2013

I used it yesterday and made food for 10 people. We used mesquite branches and some logs. I put three pounds of ground beef, two types of chorizo, about a third of a pound each, bologna, chile, tomato, and onion, and the disk was more than big enough for all this. Plus, there was still lots of room to line all of it with maybe 10 corn tortillas laying perfectly flat on it. The food was delicious. The detachable legs are a big plus so you don't have to be limited to the fire if you want to put it on a stand, but honestly, why would you not want to cook over an open fire? The food tastes so much better, at least to me. Just make sure you don't put too many logs cause then the fire will burn the discada. In sum, the Enterprise in one great disk because it cooks for over ten, it has detachable legs, and the food is amazing when cooked on it. My friends all wanted one after seeing it in all its glory. Get it now!

    Perfect

Posted by Unknown on 24th Feb 2013

This thing is great! Used it for the first time today, to windy for coals so we used the propane turkey fryer burner. The flat bottom on this disc is perfect for our burner. All I can say is that the Sika Deer fajitas were awesome! Great product

It is wIth a heavy heart. . .

Just out of the box, and I have to admit I was prepared to be a little skeptical at first. However, I have to report that the discada is wonderful. Legs are the prefect length, sturdy, well made, and at the correct angle to stabilize the discada. It is very well made, has a nice flat bottom portion, and was already seasoned as promised. In reality, I can cook a LOT of food in this, and it is almost too heavy for lugging around very far. Just like I wanted. Holds the heat well, heats evenly, heats quickly. All in all, a very positive experience, and the customer service experience is excellent. Nothing but positives. Thanks very much.
