The Moab Rim trail is one of our favorites of many Jeep trails in Moab that we enjoy rock crawling on and what better way to share this than name one of our Disco's after this beautiful 4x4 trail. A big hit with us at the Annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab is our Southwest Discada's!! Maybe we will see you there!?
The Moab Rim is the cliff rim seen just to the southwest of Moab. Its only four-wheel-drive access begins just down river from town and the first mile has about the highest density of obstacles of any of the area trails. Many vehicles have "bit the rocks" on the succession of rock ledges and tight turns that lead to the rim. On top, the trail is sand and rock as it leaves the rim, but it returns at another overlook. A spur, sometimes used, visits Indian ruins and rock art. After closing a short loop, the trail returns on the same rocky mile it started with. A formerly used trail loop to the famous Egg Ranch Fin and Death Row has been closed for more than ten years to all motorized travel by BLM's Resource Management Plan.

All i can say is I am very glad i finally pulled the trigger and purchased my moab 24. I spent my first couple days giving it a deeper seasoning with manteca. I have cooked on it around 10 times now and i can say that the quality is amazing, and this thing should last a lifetime. I have made a true discada meal, breakfast tacos, fajitas, new orleans style bbg shirmp, fried rice, and other meansl and this thing handles it all. Dont wait to get yours.
I'm from Argentina and I can tell you this is the best disco ever made is the perfect excuse to gather friends and family to have a great time. I recommend a delicious recipe "bondiola al disco" @ #locosporelasado. Thank you southwestdisk to make this excellent quality disk!!!
Just as advertised on web-site - nice welds and finish - very pleased. Very fun to cook on - lots of room. Would highly recommend
I really love cooking on this Disk, my only complaints are the slope on the sides are a little steep and stuff slides back to the middle, but is manageable . Other than that I wish it had some what of a flat bottom as the Rio Grande appears to have which I am going to order , it seems to have everything I want except the rim. All in all it is great!
Just got my moab with the spring handles. I loved that this disk is heavy and durable. Also used it the first day it came in.
Guiding several trips this year, First on to MOAB group of 20 Have been doing small batches of cooking to season this awesome product. can't wait to cook for the group Thanks for helping the Vets Hilux Club of North America
Great craftsmanship, great product, totally worth every penny!!! Came in handy this Easter Weekend as it cooked for the whole clan!!! Definitely recommend this disco!
Very happy with purchase. Would definitely by from Southwest Disk again.
Love this thing! Made in America by vets! Formed not welded sides, good price for what you get compared to others out there, can cook for a crowd! Arrives with the first season, ready to start cooking! I made breakfast tacos, can't wait for some good weather to make more stuff! Let me know when the carrier is available, should make it much easier transporting and caring for the disk.
